Bohemian weddings, in an idyllic setting.

Wedding parties at Ballybeg have the exclusive use of the entire place for a minimum of three days. This includes the House, Grouse Lodge, our medieval ceremony room, Victorian marquee, grounds and gardens.

Enjoy a bridal suite like no other - Grouse Lodge is the ultimate secluded getaway for every couple. Set on the Ballybeg estate, a twenty minute walk over the hill, or ten minute drive, Grouse Lodge is a marvellous place to relax in before and after the big day and is particularly loved by Brides as the idyllic location for wedding preparations.

The marquee accommodates wedding parties ranging from 40 to 160 guests. The interior of the marquee has a distinct Victorian style, complete with lace curtains, draped ceilings, chandeliers, wooden floor, fully fitted kitchen and toilet facilities, oil fired central heating and modern light and PA equipment.

The Ayers Ceremony Room is a unique, intimate and very special place to exchange your wedding vows. It will transcend you into a medieval era and will add to the already enviable choice of locations at Ballybeg for your wedding ceremony. Its rustic stonework, stained glass windows and open fires make it a very romantic space.

The House, Grounds, Marquee, Ayers Ceremony Room and Outdoor Hot-Tub will all be exclusively yours for at least three days.

The Garden & Grounds

Want to get married outdoors?

The grounds around Ballybeg House present numerous opportunities for your very own special wedding blessing. We can organise a celebrant who will discuss your ceremony wishes with you prior to your wedding day.

Civil Ceremonies can take place in our Ceremony Room which was developed in part of the old existing courtyard.

The Walled garden and grounds are all stunning backdrops for your photographs with views of the rolling Wicklow hills.

Cooking at Ballybeg is in the capable hands of our very special tried and proven pool of caterers from which you can choose.

We can organise the champagne, wines and other drinks for you, or if you prefer bring them along yourselves prior to your wedding. Ballybeg has no corkage charge. While Ballybeg is primarily a self-catering house, all cleaning etc. will be done for you after the wedding.
