Monique has been involved in the world of food for over 20 years, having qualified from Ballymaloe Cookery School in 1985.Since then she has run her own firm providing bespoke cuisine to private and corporate clients, and food styling services for publications such as Country Living, Good Housekeeping and Company magazines. Molly’s Larder

Following the success of her award winning  restaurant “Kitty’s of Arklow”, Molly’s Larder was  founded in 2001 by Ingrid Sharpe to bring the same standard of  food & service off site. Ingrid is a native of Co. Wicklow and lives just 3 miles from Ballybeg. This  idyllic setting  has been complemented perfectly by the presentation & flavour of Molly’s Larder’s food. Ingrid has brought together a team of  staff  that take pride in the success of each event. Molly’s Larder  is well renowned for its  buffet style banquets from Barbeque, hot and cold menus.

Ralf and Marino Present Gourmet Weddings

To enjoy a gourmet wedding feast, we are very excited to introduce these two amazing chefs to our website.

Ralf and Marino have cooked for Ballybeg weddings and their menus are a real culinary treat . Marino Monteressi, did his training as chef in Italy, worked in Switzerland, France, England in many of the top restaurants!! And now owner of the well known Bates Restaurant in Rathdrum!

Ralf Hoegger, trained in Switzerland as chef and Hotelfachschule, is in Ireland for the past 7 years, between cooking for: the Duke of Devonshire, The Who and the Edge, now part owner of a award winning wine company called ‘A taste of Italy‘!

Naomi’s Kitchen

The head chef at Naomi's Kitchen is the inimitable Naomi Byrne. With almost ten years' catering experience under her apron, she has been trained at the world-renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School and has worked for the original and highly-regarded Avoca Cafes in County Wicklow. Naomi's also travelled the world to learn about ethnic foods - including studying at the famous Siam Cookery School in Thailand and cooking at both large and small catering establishments throughout Australia.

At Naomi's Kitchen we cater for all events, large and small, flexibility and individuality is something at which we excel. In 2007, we hosted the Official St. Patrick's Day Luncheon in The Pillar Room, catering for over 300 guests. We also cater regularly for clients as diverse as the Marketing Institute of Ireland, Brown Thomas, Gallerynumberone and for many a wedding at Ballybeg House - the eclectic wedding venue.

Late Night Snacks at Ballybeg

Specialists in organic catering for small events, our mobile catering unit is ideal for wedding evenings, house parties, BBQ’S and other outdoor events.

Typical menus are as follows;
• Beef Burgers - 4oz 100% pure Irish Beef.
• Chicken Burgers - breaded chicken fillet.
• Hot Dogs: made with pork sausages.
• Chips: Organic potatoes chipped on-site and deep-fried
• in organic sunflower oil.

All are served with any combination of onions, red sauce and cheese. All of buns/breads are sourced from an organic bakery as well as other edibles sourced from certified organic suppliers. Alternative menus are available on request.

The Corkscrew wine merchants were set up in February 2004 by Peter Foley (former managing director and founder of Berry Bros & Rudd Irl.), along with his son Paul Foley and Colm Douglas (former retail manager Berry Bros. & Rudd). The aim of The Corkscrew is to offer exciting new wines from all corners of the globe, sourced by themselves along with an old-fashioned personal service provided by over 25 years of experience in the wine trade.
