Winter Weddings at Ballybeg

At Ballybeg we love the snow! The gardens and driveway are magnificent blanketed in white and the house offers a cosy retreat.

Ballybeg House offers the perfect ambiance for an intimate winter wedding. Our permanent marquee is centrally-heated and turned into a winter wonderland with hundreds of twinkling fairy lights and winter floral decorations.

Blazing fires throughout the house create the ideal atmosphere for a mulled wine reception followed by a winter dining experience. At Christmas time Ballybeg becomes even more magical with several Christmas trees throughout the house and the marquee accompanied by big bunches of hanging mistletoe for those Christmas kisses.

Dear Paddy, Dom, Tee, Ted and the whole Ballybeg team.
In the midst of snow, ice and extreme weather, we have had the most magical winter christmas wedding. Your support and enthusiasm for making this happen means a lot. You have an extraordinary team who create an exceptionally warm and homely atmosphere. The roaring fires, candles and mistletoe made our wedding feel like the winter wonderland we dreamed of. The sight of Ballybeg blanketed in white really is beautiful. My flower girls were convinced this was Santa’s holiday home! All of our guests felt so welcome and were looked after so well by all of your staff. A friend commented that he felt like he was at a friends dinner party in their home when being served dinner rather than being at the wedding venue.
The food was out of this world! Ted is a genius - the spit roast looked spectacular in the snow and the pork and beef were gorgeous.
Thank you to all the staff and of course Paddy, whose cool head reassured and supported us when planning the day.

We are still on a huge high having celebrated or wedding this weekend at the unique Ballybeg House. The venue and atmosphere are exceptional and we owe you many thanks, as your support, creativity and attention to detail has surpassed all expectations, contributing to a wedding we could never ever dreamed of achieving. Initially we set out to create a “different” wedding, and had difficulty finding people and places to fit this description, but Ballybeg and it’s staff fulfilled that brief extraordinary well.
